If you have a genuine case of the ’flu. or any other serious malady that might not necessarily happen to land you in hospital just like that, getting out of bed is out of the question. Japanese-modelled decorum might be a bit much but it’s not hard to cover one’s mouth when coughing or carry pocket-tissues to cut out too much sniffing. People who sniff all the time without even thinking to run a Kleenex past their nostrils are incredibly irritating and annoying after a while.
