I have no problem with listening to his music as long as he's not profiting from you personally. The art (music) didn't do anything wrong. If the art is good then why should you miss out just because the artist is a sicko?
If you did that then you'd probably never watch a movie to come out of Hollywood again, because there's bound to be some perverted sicko involved in whichever film you watch again.

On a much smaller scale, I watched Angel a couple of years back, and we all know about Joss Whedon's antics behind the scenes.
But I agree with you on people's antics behind the scenes shouldn't put you off the art.
