I once went into a bookies in Glasgow with a pal on a night out (when I worked in one so extra-specially disliked being in them) and he was hammering £20 notes into the roulette... I was getting bored so I stuck £5 in the machine next to him and did 5 spins on "Rainbow Riches" ... ... won the £250 silver pot

I can see how things like that get people hooked on these games. But when you've watched people play them all day every day for years, you know it's just dumb luck and wins like that are rare!
