When Clarkson commits an act of violence on her himself (an actual crime) then let the law do its job, until then, let the man have his rights to freedom the same as the rest of us.

I agree with you actually that if someone were to harm Meghan physically, then they are the one that should be held responsible by the law.
However Clarkson knows that Meghan has some (not all) but some crazy detractors out there, that don't need much of a push to try to harm Meghan, so his words do carry quite a bit of weight when he is bringing one of GOT's most serious scenes into his so called joke/rant.
And anyone wishing harm to Boris is disgusting as well, there are far worse people in Politics than Boris Johnson.
