if you haven't played the game before then yes it is a bit of a spoiler for that
i really don't know now anymore where the tv series will go in which direction compared to the game
but characters wise, let's just say,

the worst scum is yet to come, and one of those is played by video game voice actor of Joel
and we also still have Ellie's backstory to come, her mom being played by her video game voice actress
and i cannot wait for Rutina Wesley her first appearance as Maria, Tommy's wife/girlfriend over at jackson, i always liked Rutina on True Blood so am curious about her role as Maria which also is said to be larger role than in the game
