20 is a great age, our last cat only made it to 2
. We'll, allegedly. She went missing, we put out a load of fliers, heard nothing for a week... Then we get a call from a withheld number, some woman saying "Sorry she was hit by a car outside my house, my gardener buried her". Already a bit weird but then they refused to give us a name, address, phone number or anything and hung up.
So either it was them that hit her and they feel guilty, or my cat is living in someone's house as a house cat that they didn't want to give back
