The government is choosing to take broad and invasive steps, to allow them to not work as hard to do their job of protecting people in their country, they should start trying to actually do their job properly rather than try to spy on the majority of the country, it was the same with the trials of those facial recognition cctv cameras, taking away peoples privacy so they don’t have to work as hard, it’s a very slippery slope
