You even bolded this yourself; his use of the chatbot for escapism was evidently a
symptom of some other mental health struggle or stress, not the cause.
A common mistake to make of course; e.g. that things like drugs/alcohol/gambling are the
cause of people's troubles in life when, most often, it's the other way around.
