I can't find a proper breakdown of the legislation in question to really comment either way - it looks like (unsurprisingly, being what it is) this random guy's tweet isn't really an accurate reflection of what's going on. "Genital inspections" are a step too far, proper documentation should be all that's needed (along with robust consequences for fraud if it's discovered) and I don't see how a visual inspection is going to be better evidence of biological sex than a birth certificate.
However it LOOKS LIKE the bill going through covers a lot more than just this, and it's what's been picked out to combat the entire bill.
But as I said - I can't seem to find a proper unbiased breakdown of what's in the bill anywhere.
