I just can't see us becoming a 100% cashless society, machines are always breaking down....and there's always going to be digital errors.

I understand the convenience of just using and taking card payments, but we still need to carry a bit of cash around.

I know when it's a coffee shop or other food or drink place, the workers probably don't want to be touching money and then touching food at the same time ...for hygiene reasons and as it's less messing about.

But to completely scrap cash.... is a mistake. I've seen it when people's cards get declined over and over again due to the shop's Machine playing up . I find it funny when the worker assumes it's the customer's fault ...they always say " oh it must be an issue with your card" .
