We had blue tits nesting in our bird box in the garden but yesterday noticed a destinct lack of activity on the parent's behalf with feeding the chicks. The same went for today. So tonight I decided to take the box down only to find all the chicks (I think there must have been 5 or 6 chicks) dead inside. So sad. The parents had been so busy to and fro feeding them something must have scared them off.
So that's why I'm a bit sad tonight........Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes.
