Fair point about the monsters.
I was personally thinking about how dry some of the dialogue was to me in the Game when thinking about how serious the Game was.
However I do see your point about the monsters, they did feel too whacky and nothing like Resident Evil enemies from the other Games.
RE7 I feel mixed about personally, I liked Jack & Margaret, but again the Game didn't feel like a Resident Evil Game to me.
