Haven't played it in years now though but it was good fun. Used to harbour dreams of going pro but I never made much money online from it. My brother was really good and made quite a few thousand but he had to retake a year of Uni because he was playing so much so he realised it wasn't good for him in the end

you've just reminded me about the poker scam me and two friends ran in high school! One of my fri nds was good at poker, me and the other friend were OK-ish (I'm not beating anyone actually good without a lot of luck, put it that way) but basically we'd invite along random guys from school for a poker party who we knew A) were bad at poker or couldn't play at all and B) didn't get invited to many social things... £10 buy in winner takes all... We would get like 6 people to come along, my friend would win 9 out of 10 times win and if not usually me or other friend, then when everyone else was gone we would take £20 each (plus keep our own £10). Usually did it on a Thursday night, then used the money to go to the pub on the Friday.
The sad part is I figured after a while, the guys who were losing regularly but still coming along knew what was going on, but were basically willing to pay the £10 to come along for a few beers and a game of poker
