Well, the point is that he shouldn't even have cared about it. It's a bizarre and discomforting mindset to have: that other housemates of your own race shouldn't be nominating you. It also implies that he'd rather nominate white HMs over his fellow black HMs, regardless of what those black HMs might have done to offend him or otherwise warrant a nomination.
It's especially bizarre because I know he's said in a past show that he's mix-raced, with one black parent and one white. I know I'd be disappointed to hear him say such a thing if I were that white parent lol
