Regarding archiving, the point is to have a complete and authentic record to refer to, not necessarily for widespread distribution. I don't even think through the website it's very easy to pull up that information. I think one must have the original link to find it. So the archive is only meant for those who go to click a link and find the information is no longer there. (That's why archives exist) A screenshot is actually easier to spread around than a link if anyone wanted to do reputation damage... that's how to best do it. It's 1-2 click upload (just about) and then essentially it's everywhere after that. Whereas an archive, people must click a link and as we typically see, people aren't always keen to check an actual source.
