Everyone was quite calm actually, and struck up conversations with each other, and was having a laugh and a joke. Only a few people became agitated, but everyone made light of the situation and things were ok. There was nothing we could do but wait. Some people were not impressed with us sounding the alarm, but we stressed that to do something was better than doing nothing. It only sounds in the carriage you activate it in, so people were free to move to other carriages to get away from the noise.
