Default University of Bradford:scholarship for white working-class men

[The University of Bradford has announced
a scholarship scheme to help get more
white working-class men into
higher education.

White male students who are in this
economic demographic and already living
in the Bradford district will be eligible
to receive the bursary of £400 a month
towards living costs while studying
at the university.

The city has one of the most
multi-cultural populations in
the country, having seen its white
British population decrease from
63.9% in 2011 to 56.7% in 2021.]

[Professor Shirley Congdon, vice-chancellor
of the university, said that the scholarship
'further emphasises the university's
commitment to social mobility,
helping to ensure that everyone
who studies at Bradford fulfils their potential'.
The scholarship will be funded by
the Keith Howard Foundation,

named after the late philanthropist
and businessman who studied
at the university.]
