Because that era of music (the birth of rock n roll) was my dad's era of music, my earliest memories of listening to music were from the era with Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino and Little Richard.

They were the LP's that were played in my house as a child. I grew up on that era.

My mother was into mowtown, so that music was also a part of my early life.

My sister was 5 year's older than me and her idol was Madonna. So I also grew up on 80s Madonna.

My era for music was late eighties/early nineties and I was into The Happy Mondays. The Stone Roses. The Pixies and Nirvana. They were the bands of my time.

I eventually matured into being more a fan of The Beatles and Rolling Stones. I don't think it gets better than those.

As a young kid, this was my favourite Elvis song. Maybe not my favourite anymore (although still a great song) but it was back then.
