To be fair Ammi I'm usually happy to suspend disbelief but I just find droopy Jake Gyllenhaal beating up gang after gang of coked-up MMA thugs a stretch too far
. It's fine when they have super-powers or something but when it's just some "really well trained" bloke? It's too much!
I feel the same about the John Wick movies. Keanu as Neo effortlessly kung-fu-ing wave after wave of villains? That's fine he is after all The One. But Keanu as just... some ex hitman... who is super skilled buy just some guy? I can't buy it! He would be dead in 10 minutes!
