"Finding someone attractive" or appreciating that someone is objectively good looking even if you don't personally "fancy them" is never creepy.
Obsession is
always creepy. Celebrity, stranger or someone you know.
That's the simple truth of it IMO.
(You are of course allowed to be somewhat infatuated with your actual partner
