I can't remember if it was here or on another forum I said this, but I really wouldn't kind St Edmund being reinstated as our Patron Saint.

He lived in England, was a king (of East Anglia), and isn't remembered for the possibly-fictional slaying of a mythical beast

Although some psychos would probably think replacing George for an Englishman would be "racist"
