….I can’t claim the idea of the collection as being my own tbh because it was my lovely mother in law who started it all…they were always great travellers of very far off places and they would always bring us back a Christmas Tree bauble, wherever they went…so then it was something that we adopted ourselves…there are many that are from places that I’ve never been to…I think maybe I should start making stories about them ….’oh yes, Iceland…that was an amazing time we had…there was this little store that I bought that bauble at….’….the nice thing now is that when our children travel, that’s what they’ll always look for, for us as well…so it’s a real passing down the generations thing…just wait until they inherit them all and realise just how many there are ….’we’ll need a bigger tree, dear…’….
