I generally prefer full season drops, but I don't think they'd put out 15 eps of anything at once - 10 is fairly standard so I'd have accepted a 10 episode drop (maybe ending in a mini-cliffhanger) and then a 5-episode "finale" drop.

I do actually think the last season of Stranger Things worked quite well with a small split, they released most of it and then the final couple of episodes a couple of months later.

So long as it's only a small gap of course... 4 or 5 months tops... no one wants to wait a year for the second part of a single season
