The question isn't why it happens or whether or not it's justified in this case - even if one argues that it is an inevitable reality of this sort of war.
The question is
1) Do [certain people] care/think it's tragic that these civilians are being killed (even if it's unavoidable)
2) Do [certain people] actively feel some ... positive / celebratory ... feelings when they see dead non-Hamas Palestinians, either feeling that it's a justifiable eye-for-an-eye vengeance ("That'll show 'em") or perhaps that all Palestinians are Hamas-by-proxy and in some way responsible for Oct 7th... and thus actively want to see Palestinian civilians killed / enjoy the high numbers.
#1 is a bit of a "meh" people have different empathy levels. If you don't care you don't care.
Sadly though I suspect #2 is the quiet unspoken reality and
*ahem*
Some people
want to see [note: not "accept", but "want"] all the non-Hamas Palestinian men, women, children and animals dead too.
Though probably not the animals - people ain't arf sentimental about their doggies. If someone said the IDF was bombing puppies the world would erupt.
