But it seemed so avoidable. As a doctor, he must have known the very serious effects extreme heat has on the body - particularly someone so close to 70 years old.
I heard he liked to take risks. Often that is not a good thing.
I think after the dust settles, many people will sit back and highly recommend the elderly do not go out in the midday sun, in extreme temperatures over 30c - in his case 45c. Or at least have a phone and a few water bottles. Plus a fan.
