The presenter says she was “extremely uncomfortable” dancing with Pernice and “cried every day”.
Anneka Rice
Rice revealed that she was left “depressed and needed three months of physio” after her appearance in 2019.
Will Bayley
The Paralympian says he suffered “life-changing” injuries after he was pushed by pro Janette Manrara to jump from a table. A representative for Manrara said: “Her celebrity partner’s safety and enjoyment was always the priority throughout her time on Strictly. Janette has never received any complaints.”
Ranvir Singh
The Good Morning Britain presenter says she was “scared” of Pernice when partnered with him in 2020.
Zara McDermott
The former Love Island contestant was kicked by her pro partner Graziano Di Prima during rehearsals last year. He has been forced to leave Strictly and has moved back to Italy.
Amanda Abbington
The Sherlock actress claims she was left with PTSD after her treatment by Pernice in 2023. The BBC has launched a misconduct probe. Pernice says he has “always rejected any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour”.

Hasn't Anton already apologized over that scandal? It's very pathetic that it's being dragged back up over a decade later. Especially when he has already apologized over it years ago.
And Ola like Giovanni I will defend here, all that's being said about them is that they're strict/possibly unpleasant people behind the scenes, that alone shouldn't warrant all of this that's going on.
After all the dancers do have to encourage some standards for their contestants, because the judges certainly don't.
The other scandals I am willing to more than hear out personally, as there's definitely room of doubt in my mind about what was going on in some of these scenarios.
