Sad to see a lot of people of ethnic background asking if the city is safe for them and having to second guess all their movements. I've had a few colleagues say for the first time in their lives they've questioned whether they should go out as usual as well - speaking in general terms not just specifically when protests are planned.

Horrible, just watched the news with shops boarded up and restaurants closed, well done in shutting down businesses who are just getting back on their feet after covid lockdowns....twats
