Former Big Brother contestant Michelle Bass has told the latest hopefuls entering the Big Brother house to just "be themselves".

Speaking as the new face of Television X, she said: "The main thing is that you be yourself.

"If you're a shy person and you try to be argumentative, the public will see through it, I believe.

"Whereas, if you're argumentative, then be argumentative all you like.

"That's just an example, but basically you've got to be yourself for people to like who you are."
