If it crosses in front of the Moon, I wonder if it would still be visible with even a moderately powerful telescope. I've seen satellites fly by just through casual viewing. It was undeniable as you could see the full detail, as they were spinning along their own axis, all while revolving around the Earth. Only for several seconds though...
