Tbh I do think that Nathan likes to target Daze because of her Politics.
I do like Nathan as I find him to be a really interesting Housemate, but I do think that he is targeting Daze over Ali deliberately, because he knows that Daze gets more flustered in arguments, and because of her controversial views it's easier for him to get the public on his side.
Daze reminds me of Makensy from BBUSA a little bit, where her naivety and youth is being used against her by some of the other Housemates.
