I thought Marcello was probably correct when he said that Ali has a negative view of people, I do think that is a flaw of hers, but his chat in the diary room at the start of the episode boiled down to: Ali will make me feel uncomfortable constantly talking about sex so I don't want her here.

Rather than caring that him constantly talking in a sexual nature makes others feel uncomfortable. It's very entitled and he said something similar earlier in the series when Ali called him out for lying about them kissing in the smoking area. I'm not sure why he thinks he shouldn't be called out for making women feel uncomfortable for his vulgar discussion.
