Oh dear me, I realise and actually know that MPs of ALL Parties are threatened with violence and even regular death threats too, it's extremely stressful and even frightening.

However this looks way out of order to any kind of reasonable response.
So he'll face the consequences in law as to his actions.

I'm really pleased Labour have taken action quickly and not only suspended him as a Labour MP but also even before the investigation concluded, suspended his Party membership too.

That's all that can be done however, he is I understand a fairly popular MP in his constituency.
He cannot be sacked as an MP.
So no by election can happen.

Unless his constitutents demand same by recall.
Or he gets a prison sentence of a certain minimum period.

Otherwise if he's fined or whatever then once convicted he can still sit there as a now Independent MP until the next election.
There's nothing really Labour or even parliament itself can do to stop him remaining an MP.
Unless he himself voluntarily resigns as an MP.
