I wish I could remember who he was speaking to. I have a feeling it was Emma and... I can't remember the second HM. I am pretty certain it was Emma, though, and, for that reason, I am peeved that she nominated him for being fake when he opened up to her.

Yes I agree - I think Ali was correct that Khaled can be a bit disingenuous, but incorrect in thinking that it comes from a malicious place. I do think he wants to be very amenable to people and to come across as a good guy, and for that reason is not going to be totally authentic. I think a lot of it is just….he wants to be a good person and is learning how to do so, which is no crime. I do feel like he might be a bit insincere at times, as a result of wanting to be liked, but nowhere near as much as, say, someone like Martha.
