I used to live 100 yards away from Len Fairclough ( yikes) in fact we walked past his lush bungalow to school and back each day ..( scary thought now)
I also met and chatted to Elsie Tanner at a charity football match to raise money for an animal sanctuary .. she was obsessed with our Irish Red Setters
