Apprentice star Claire Young has revealed that shocking scenes of aggression between contestants have been left on the cutting room floor.

Chatting to fellow holidaymakers about the programme during a break in Spain, the 29-year-old retail buyer admitted that viewers are only seeing a small selection of the heated rows which took place between Sir Alan Sugar's candidates.

"There are all these egos in one room, there was a lot of bad swearing and it got really aggressive," she explained. "A lot had to be cut out. On one task someone even got hit."

According to the Sunday Mirror, Claire also confessed that watching the programme each week has made her feel insecure about her appearance.

"I look at myself on TV and I am fat and my face is big," she said. "Even here in Spain I worry about getting recognised by fans, 'cause I let everything hang out - cellulite, boobs, my tummy. It's not a good look."
