Mickey was obviously joking. Unfortunately his jokes are old 80s ones and he didn't understand that they're not acceptable anymore.
Glad Jojo explained it to him and now it looks like they're getting on great.
Still not happy about her stabbing him in the back, but at least it was a valid reason.
