I doubt it's fully scripted, but yes there are elements that are closer to Love Island etc. than they are to classic BB, which is a shame because obviously peak BB was brilliant, but I fear it's simply had its day.

Sliding closer to the Love Island model was also somewhat inevitable when it moved to ITV and I believe lots of the conversations on here when it was announced suspected it would.

I do really hope they have one last punt at a "simple, unmanipulated, relatively normal people" civvy series before it dies for the 3rd time.
