Shaun is called to the diary room to talk to Big Brother

Hi Big Brother

How are you feeling Shaun after today’s events?

I’m really gutted tbh. We just lost Jake a couple days ago who was such a great housemate and now Sophitia has decided to walk. Idk I feel like the whole mood in the house is quite low at the moment as emotions are still pretty high. The thing is tho is it’s not gonna get any easier as soon enough, another one of us will be gone, it’s the nature of the game.

What will you remember most about Sophitia?

I’ll always remember how kind and generous she was and just how much of a pleasure she was to be around. I wish I could’ve talked her out of leaving, I didn’t even realise she was thinking of going but if I would’ve known beforehand, I would’ve tried to talk her out of it. She was a very good team player and helped us so much with building contribution points in the tasks. I could’ve definitely seen her in the final, she just had the right attitude and personality for this game and that’s all she needed.

How do you think the other housemates will react to Sophitia leaving?

Oh I think all of them are devastated that she’s gone and they will express their sorrows and whatnot but I do have that underlying suspicion that some maybe also thinking that “it’s one less person to worry about” and the game goes on. I will feel sorry for Jones and Ray as she seemed to get on with those two housemates in particular.

Shaun, Big Brother is unsure if Sophitia packed all of her belongings before leaving. Big Brother is asking if you and your fellow housemates could double check that all Sophitias belongings are no longer in the house and if there is anything that was left behind, could you bring it to the diary room

Is there any last words you would like to say to Sophitia

Yh just that I’m really sad the she’s gone and I will very much miss her. I think she will always be a ‘what if’ scenario leaving so soon as I genuinely thought she could’ve gone all the way. Sophitia, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’re having a nice glass of wine wherever you are on the outside world.
