#1 she didn't do that at all, your memory is failing you, in fact she developed a sort of friendship with Mickey, it was Ella who had a major issue with Mickey.
#2 the above was not all he said and nit the part she was upset about, it was the "I'm voting for the lesbian" comment and "f*g - of course I mean cigarette!" type jokes she had an issue with. And she didn't even make a very big deal about it.
I don't think she's beyond criticism, it's looking a lot like she did take her relationship a bit far with Chris in the house - given that she had a partner on the outside, who she should (ideally) have broken up with first. But her conduct otherwise with most housemates, and with Mickey, wasn't what you're describing at all.
