Very appropriate at this present time.

I was never an admirer of Johnson, but he was a winner.
Even I have to admit that, plus he was certainly a better bet than the PM before him and the one after him.
In my view.

I do think had he absolutely stuck rigid to the COVID rules he made law for everyone else
Plus had he not tried to cover for or keep in place the MPs of his who did wrong, lobbying or financially and the worst one, trying to cover up for a sexual predator.
I personally wasn't too bothered about his expenses and freebies issues

I think with Ukraine and his then determination to really stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine.
Then he likely would have been a much stronger bet still in any election.
I wonder what he really thinks about things now.
As for him coming back again.
I'm not sure it looks like he'd even want to.
Especially at this chaotic time.
To be fair, Johnson was pursued relentlessly, rabidly even, and his political career ended over a covid rule break. Starmer broke the rules and got away with it scot free and is now prime minister. The woman who ran the inquiry into Johnson and came to the conclusion we all knew she would, immediately went to work for Starmer. The whole witch hunt smelled like a fish market on a hot day.
