A gunman shot dead two Israeli embassy workers in Washington DC and chanted “free
Palestine” after the killings.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, said he was “shocked” by what
he called a
“horrifying antisemitic murder”.
He said: “We are witnessing the terrible price of anti-Semitism and the wild
incitement against the State of Israel. The blood libels against Israel are
costing us blood and must be fought relentlessly.”
Donald Trump said: “These horrible D.C killings, based obviously on
antisemitism, must end, now!
“Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families
of the victims.”
