Thousands of fossils of sea creatures have been found on mountains in England, specifically in Snowdonia and the Cotswolds
These fossils are remnants of ancient marine life that lived millions of years ago, when the areas were submerged under shallow tropical seas. Over time, geological uplift caused the land to rise, bringing these fossils to higher elevations
