There's nothing to really be as careful about because it's not like there's a Dark Web version of Google (it's all self-report/specific crawl jobs).
And even if there were, it'd still probably manage to be far less evil than the legitimate Google. Jokes aside... They'd have to find a link somewhere on the "good internet" in most cases to get to anything problematic. I'd be more weary of hanging around random Discords... there's a reason admin err on the side of caution and will nuke entire servers (including permanuking accounts using them) rather than try to figure out who "the good ones" actually are.
You can use an anonymous browser though if you need to self-report your recent stint in Antifa to the police and to the CIA. I personally advocate this use case. Please use this function judiciously to report your terrorismings
