Call me a weirdo, but I will always support merit over diversity any day of the week.
Unfortunately we've never really had a society where it's judged on merit (especially in Football) but in my view the Manager/Head Coach position should be based on who is the best for the job that's available for the club, not based on race or because they're called Wayne Rooney.
And obviously I don't support Forest bringing Postecoglou in as their Manager, over a guy that gave Forest their best season since the Brian Clough era. |
