I am using the energy some of the right use to excuse punishment for hateful racist and homophobic abuse. I thought words were fine? I thought the world was lost because people were being punished for hurty words? I thought any kind of consequence off the back off saying something mean was quelling of freedom of speech?
Can you explain why you are against people being punished for saying racist and homophobic remarks, for example, despite it inciting hatred towards people, but commenting on how someone is grieving is fine for job loss?
Can you explain why Jimmy Kimmel should lose his job for questioning how Trump grieves, but Charlie Kirk should build a career off saying 'stoning gays is Gods perfect law on sexual matters', the Civil Rights Act is a mistake and constantly suggested DEI is the blame for poor outcomes or disasters that occur.
