The Monarch cannot really dismiss a serving PM elected in a democratically held election.
People moan at immigrants yet don't even seem to know our own constitution as to the Monarchy.
The Monarch isn't even allowed to enter the Commons.
If any Monarch tried to interfere with the parliamentary and electoral process it would lead to a massive constitutional crisis.
The Monarch rules only more ceremonially now.
Keeping detached more from the political process.
A Monarch is decided too not on popularity but birthright.
Whoever is Monarch can stay there no matter how good or poor they are until they die.
Yet some people seem to not even understand our Royal set up.
I do think however, IF a Prime Minister or government actually loses a vote of confidence in parliament.
However then refused to resign.
Then the Monarch in that near impossible and extreme scenario could dictate resignation and an election.
Governments no matter how good or bad, are ELECTED in one day after campaigning for up to 5 years
As long as they can command an overall majority in parliament.
That's our democratic system.
Then only the serving PM can call an election at the time of his or her choosing.
We choose on election day.
That choice then stands for up to 5 years as long as the government has an overall majority in the Commons.
That's UK democracy and OUR electoral system.
It's crazy some people don't seem to know those basic UK facts.
