Sorry to hear about this, Mark. Last month was the anniversary for ours and this sounds very similar to what we went through. Ours had a silent cancer that had taken over by the time we would've learned about it, which was normal for
that cancer... and yes, it's a massive blessing they can live so normally up until their time with some conditions, but then also so cruel for us humans because then the loss is more sudden...
