Just because the eye was twisted doesn't mean its a message or theme. You say it like the producers came out and said or even implied "The eye means fun!". They didn't even imply there was a message. It's all guess work, none of those examples mean anything.

thye said that the theme was "twisted" half way through, i rember davina saying in a interview.
it was to twist the housemates feelings and reactions and they were pushed and pushed to breaking point time and time again.
