The unemployment/ employment figures are near irrelevant.
Statistics which are misleading in my view.

They've been messed about with for decades.

If you only have say 10 to 20 hours a week working for a company you are considered employed.
If on a zero hours contract you're classed as employed.
There's people classed as employed who have the bulk of their income from universal credit claims.

I'd love to see the real figures of employment and then see those really unemployed.
How many are on zero hours contract.
How many only have 10 to 20 hours work a week.
How many work only between 20 to 30 hours.
How many are claiming a top up benefit as income.
Then how many are actually really in what is termed full time work..

Then the employment and unemployment figures may give the full and clear picture.
Not however as they are presented more pathetically now.
