Or maybe one of two other things.
1. This is ALL lies... and no such people ever were considered by BB
2. This did happen and they weren't as good as other contestants. Perhaps their only advantage was being related to some football playing tart!

It's not lies, The Sun don't value BB anymore enough to put it in it's paper unless it's something major or negative, so why would the bother writing lies about it like the daily star?
